The purpose of this course is to equip experienced support workers with advanced knowledge and practical strategies to provide culturally safe, respectful, and effective care for First Nations participants. Learners will develop a deeper understanding of cultural frameworks, historical impacts, and systemic challenges that influence participant experiences.
The training emphasises trauma-informed practice, compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, and alignment with ASQA and Australian cultural safety guidelines. By the end of this session, workers will be able to integrate inclusive approaches into daily practice, strengthen trust with participants, and contribute to equitable outcomes.
